Website/Forum Downtime

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

Lets do some background, shall we? As Web Developer, it's my job and duty (heh, he said duty) to ensure that TTS' systems are both up and running at peak functionality. Often times, SysAdmins will wait until an incredibly generous time in order to apply critical updates that may be seen as "non-essential" for the time being.

Last night I began performing those non-essential updates as we were nearing the EOL for many of our systems (end-of-life) meaning that they would no longer receive security updates. This, as many of you are aware, is not ideal

So yeah, stuff went bad, had to get it fixed, stuff is fixed, website is k. Sorry for the downtime, you could always blame Summerborn, or perhaps blame the sun for being too warm.

Thanks for understanding <3,
