Hello Everyone, I want this post to be straightforward so I'm going right to the point. Recently, I noticed there's a lack of NA/PAC static raid groups in our guild which opens a window for players to come together and fill up the gap. Therefore, I would like to step up and gather experienced players to join me and get consistent raid clears weekly. Those wing clears are suppose to start somewhere between 1:00 AM to 3:00 AM server time and last for 1:30 to 2:00 hours. Those clears will happen Monday and Tuesday 02:00 AM. I will quickly introduce myself for those who don't know me: Most people in TTS know me as Torac, which was my main character when I first joined TTS. A long time ago I used to help TTS teaching people dungeons and leading some of the world bosses. For quite a few time I used to be the guy filling up spots for people that couldn't show up for Merfoga's and Bright's group. I am super a chill guy and easy going person, I like to learn new stuff and try out different strategies for whatever game style I play. As much as I am a nice guy I also want to make sure this raid group works out so I expect you to be nice and respectful not only to me but to the whole group. So here's is the plan... Who I am looking for: -You must have knowledge about all bosses mechanic wise -You should preferentially be able to fill more than 1 role (i.e. dps and heal/dps and chrono/ you name it) -You must be familiar with the classes you play (there shouldn't be such a thing as I can tempest on Sabetha but I can't do canons) OR having the class geared properly and be willing to learn new stuff. -You must be familiar with rotations for the classes you play I also want to point out that the focus here are the mechanics for each one of the bosses. The mechanics are more important than the dps you can put out (provided your dps is not ridiculously low). So if you feel like you are a good fit for this static group please write down: -a very brief description of your level of experience (no need to mention LI number) -classes you are able play -time that works better for you So that's it. I hope we can get this group going and get clears and also have fun together. Cheers, Torac
Hey raiders! Merforga has started some really good raiding groups for the OCE timeslot, and we've started training a lot of people on the first few raid bosses. We can't let OCE stay ahead forever though, so I'd like to set up one or more core raid groups for NA and PAC. Timing for these will be dependent on who shows interest, but my preliminary thoughts are Thursday mornings (UTC) or Sunday mornings (again UTC), between 12:00 am and 2 am UTC. These are of course only initial thoughts and my personal examples, so there's a ton of flexibility. Again, these are progressive raids so please have some experience coming in! I'd be more than happy to migrate people from the weekend training raids to progressive as time goes on. As general guidelines, here's some recommendations: 1. Be able to bring 2 different classes that you know well and are geared to a raid setting - this is a flexible requirement, and I'm open to people wanting to try new things! 2. Have kill or 1%(ish) experience on every boss you want to clear weekly. 3. Be willing to learn new mechanics and do independent theorycrafting. If you'd like to join, reply in this thread or send me a mail in game! You can find me at Drecake.6174. Thanks, and happy raiding!
Hey everyone! So I quite like the whole format on these forums to link multiple embedded youtube videos and now that five guilds have completed the raid, people are posting their videos of the fights and PoV's! I thought I might make a depository of all the videos that were provided from different guilds across different classes for those are seriously interested in raiding and wanting to give it a shot, this can act as a video demonstration of increasing your class performance! This actually helped me a lot when I was learning raids back in the WoW days. So hopefully it'll give you guys some ideas on how to position, communication and optimizin your rotations! Depending on the popularity I might be doing this for all wings as they introduce more wings. So without further ado I present to you: SPIRIT VALE GUARDIAN: Elementalist PoV: [KING] Particlar Guardian PoV's: [AA] Mesmer PoV's: [HeX] Skuldin (Chrono Tank) Necromancer PoV's: [HeX] Sayuri Nagato Warrior PoV's: [Vs] PhalanxBerz =========================== GORSEVAL: Elementalist PoV: [KING] Particlar [LoD] [vC] [NA] Dom [NA] Bulldoge Engineer PoV's: [KING] Alpha Cas Mesmer PoV: [LoD] [vC] - First PoV [vC] - 2nd PoV Ranger PoV's: [NA] Tay Revanant PoV's: [KING] Deroir [NA] Nee Warrior PoV's: [KING] Flames =========================== SABETHA: Elementalist PoV: [LoD] [vC] Fennec [vC] Cheezy Engineer PoV's: [NA] Dom [SC] Abe [SC] Sesshi Mesmer PoV: [LoD] [vC]Nico Necromancer PoV's: [NA] Dom Ranger PoV's: [NA] Tay Revenant PoV's: [NA] Nee [NA] Bulldog [SC] Kiwi [vC]Aike Warrior PoV's: [NA] Winston [SC] Perry [vC] Marcel ----
NOTE: This poll is explicitly for OCE members and those who regularly attend OCE raids In light of OCE's Community Meeting, we would like to hear from you as to what we should run as a community. There is some ample time after OCE Wurm and EU Teq, so if you guys want to do something fun during this time slot, we would love to hear from you guys. Don't answer what you want to do for TTS; answer what TTS can do FOR YOU. Please take this poll seriously, as the results will be heavily considered when we plan future events. If you would like to give more detailed answers as to what you guys want, feel free to comment on this thread!
