  3. A Fond Farewell

I have been playing this game since launch. Played GW1 a crap ton as well. Needless to say, I've spent a lot of my life in Tyria. Having played since launch, I saw TTS grow when Tequatl got revamped over 3 years ago. Didn't decide to join into leadership until around 2 years ago. I came in with the purpose of defeating world bosses that I so loved to do. As HoT came out and leaders came in and out left and right, I stayed for this community over the past 2 years despite having been done with the game for quite some time. Last year, when DLS hit and I was unable to play the game when TTS ran events, I had two choices. 1 was to quit and say farewell. The other was to run bosses when I could attend and try to grow a community out of it. I am proud to see what PAC has become over the past year. We have many wonderful commanders and community members stepping up day in and day out. I have met many friends here over the past year. Some that I hold deeply in my heart. Unfortunately, since late July I started showing symptoms of depression. Last weekend they hit rock bottom. And unfortunately, things only got worse the past 24 hours. For me to ever heal from this, I have to say my goodbyes and leave. I tried fighting it off, but I lost, and for me to ever recover, I need the space. I will cherish these moments for the rest of my life. I don't want to leave, but it's unfortunately for the best. PAC is still in good hands without me. Thank you to all the wonderful people I have met and provided me with the opportunity to be your CO and help PAC thrive. I say, with a broken heart, goodbye to you all.

  5. PAC Reflect Calling Training

One of the best ways for a caller to learn is have experienced reflectors at the wurm in the reflect team. At that point, it doesn't matter what you call out as long as the reflecters in the group are able to do the correct action without relying on a call. If you want to set up a type of training, we are more than willing to assist in advertising it and encouraging members to do so.
  6. PAC events 9/20 - 9/22

Hello folks. Due to the upcoming release of Rising Flames or whatever, PAC events will be cancelled on September 20th, 21st, and 22nd (PST). Guild Missions are still on the schedule and will likely be ran depending on whoever wants to lead them. Take this time to complete the Roller coaster JP, complete personal story, be left on another cliffhanger and realize that no new legendaries are being released. Thanks all!

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully a misunderstanding. You're always welcome to rejoin us and even lead if you're able to. Don't be a stranger! You know how to reach me

When you try to be funny and post it in the wrong guild...
  12. Declining NA Division?

We don't have an official announcement on active status/purges at this moment, but I can say comfortably that you won't have to worry about this upcoming month. We would have loved to keep NA, but with the current state of the game, as been said, a small handful of commanders/leaders were running the show everyday for a very long time which eventually led to burnout. If you do attend ANY TTS event (one that is hosted in teamspeak), you are eligible for active status in the current system. Even if there are no TTS commanders present (so if a community member lead Tequatl). You can mail any commander in your TTS guild your account name (with numbers), which guild you're in, and which event you attended. When they get online they give you active status again. We will also keep everyone up to date as soon as we have created a new system on active status, but for now, there isn't much of a need to worry. The purge is meant to keep the guilds active of people that participate in any type of TTS events, not to remove people from the guild that wish to participate in those events.
  13. Cancellation of NA Events - Aug. 1

^^^^^^^^ Honestly with the state of the current metas, all you have to do is tag up and the event will be rather successful. KotJ, Teq, AB, DS, and many other events are easy-mode as long as people assume there are people on the maps wishing to complete the event. The only exception is Triple Trouble, in which organization is a must. Where commanders come into play is ensuring things are ran rather smoothly, all things considered, and also to kill it rather fast with the correct organization and knowledge and also contribute to community building (which is rather key). The teamspeak is always open for people to host their own events. That is why there are permanent channels. We would love to see this continue, but relying on the same people day in and day out to host these events lead to burnout.
  14. Cancellation of NA Events - Aug. 1

He meant "Basically" which is, a majority of the time he was alone. Fact of the matter is the content in the game is in a heavy drought. We did just get a new map, but it's another puggable map that requires no coordination - something that doesn't need to be organized to do. Being a commander in TTS requires quite a lot of responsibility and time sacrifice, something 2-3 people can't do alone for months and months. So, they eventually decided to do what's best for them and cancel the timezone and take a break from commandership. We love what we do, but if we don't get help or have a large team in which a lot of people can help, the burnout gets real.
  15. Congratulations to Rei!

On reaching commander rank! Woot! Well deserved!
